As part of our growth strategy across EMEA we are currently recruiting for Sales Associates to join our Inside Sales function. The successful candidate will be a native speaker in a European language other than English and s/he will be based in our EMEA Sales hub in Cork, Ireland.
Specific duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Perform outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, sales qualifications and offer extension to new and/or existing B2B customers.

  • Create and identify new business opportunities by interacting with a wide variety of accounts from small and medium sized, to large enterprise businesses.

  • Meet activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments and opportunities identified.

  • Maintain contact with customers in an assigned territory to ensure customer satisfaction, issue resolution and help to drive the expansion of EMC’s footprint.
Requirements:

  • Native European language with fluent English

  • Previous Sales or Sales Associate experience, approx 1 - 2 years.

  • IT related sales experience would be an advantage

  • Previous experience in an Outbound Department would be beneficial

  • IT Storage background (Knowledge of Storage Industry preferred)

  • Ability to handle constructive customer feedback and implement ideas for process improvement

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels

  • Ability to work on one’s own initiative as well as part of a team

  • Competency/awareness of social media tools in a business context

  • Be an enthusiastic, self motivated individual with a passion for sales

  • “Can Do” / “Winner” attitude essential.
