Sales Associate Team Leader - German Team

We recruit top talent and over a period of 12-18 months, we coach & develop our Associates into our next generation of Inside Sales Representatives. In turn, those successful Inside Sales Reps are the sought after profile for our Field Sales Organisation across EMEA.

Sales Associate Program

There are two main objectives of our Sales Associate Program:


  1. Operate as the Business Development engine for our Inside Sales organisation; performing outbound sales activities to qualify and develop sales leads in the EMEA regions.

  2. Develop our SA talent into dynamic Inside Sales Reps for our EMEA Inside Sales organisation.

The role

EMC are now looking to recruit a Sales Associate Team Leader to work primarily with our German Sales Associate Team.

The German Associate team is our largest in the SA Program and it is here in our Inside Sales hub in Cork, Ireland that we develop our German SA talent over a period of 12-18 months to enable the top performing Sales Associates to take up Inside Sales Rep positions back in Germany.
What are the responsibilities of a Team Leader? Lead a team of Sales Associates across all market segments (Enterprise, Mid-Market & SMB) and provide leads, appointments and a pipeline of opportunities to the sales teams located in the sales hubs and also in country.

Liaise actively with Sales Associate Team management, Inside Sales management & Marketing to ensure that the target levels of activity are being met and the required number of leads and opportunities are being created.

Take a lead role in developing and implementing best practices

Increase effectiveness of staff and tools by recognizing opportunities for development implementing new systems and structures

Build team structure, recognize leadership potential, and develop enhanced skill sets within the team

Requirements:

You will be a motivated self-starter who enjoys team-building, sales, and creating a great customer experience. You should be extremely motivated, proactive, organized, and work well within a fast-paced ever changing environment.

5 + years people management preferably in an IT environment

Excellent organization, and interpersonal skills

Experience leading teams, with a strong focus on coaching and mentoring, and demonstrated success developing team members is essential

Solid experience in sales, strategic sales and developing of new territories

Proven track record of successfully leading a sales team (experience in an inside sales/telemarketing environment preferred)

Strong strategic thinking skills, innovative and proven ability to execute

Working knowledge of Marketing Data bases, Marketing Campaigns and Telemarketing

Fluency in English is essential

Fluency in another European language, ideally German is desirable
