Superb opportunity to join this
leading long only asset management firm. They are interested in either
existing equity analysts or investment bankers from M&A.
Our client is a 'household name' asset
management firm, with billions of dollars under management. They are a
long only investor and have significant positions in a number of
European stocks.
They have an Equity Research team which provides the Portfolio Managers with equiity research on companies, markets and sectors. The analysts work across all sectors and are generalists at the start, before moving into a more sector specific role. This team is now looking for an equity research associate to work on report writing, financial modelling and analysis, and working with fund managers.
Candidates will have a background as follows:
- equity research associates form the sell and buy side
- investment bankers with M&A experience
- real interest in financial markets and long only investing
- great academics
Due to the nature of the role its probably going to be suitable for someone at the 2nd year analyst to 1st Associate level.
