Excellent opportunity for a Leveraged Finance Associate focused on MLA origination, structuring and execution of European Leveraged Finance transactions for our leading Corporate Banking client in London - City
To support the Bank;s strategy to originate, structure and execute acquisition finance roles as Book-Runner/MLA for Private Equity and corporate clients

1. Assist Directors and AD's in all aspects of MLA origination, structuring, execution and portfolio responsibilities
2. Support restructuring of Agency/MLA accounts and management of unsold underwriting positions
3. Primary focus on financial modelling, credit papers, data room, due diligence, site visits; tasks to evolve with experience<BR>4. Progressively manage the deal process, from both internal and external perspectives as delegated and relevant
5. Support other parts of the business and associated divisions (i.e. JLA/ Portfolio, Syndication, MIM, Treasury {e.g. forex/ interest rate hedging} )
6. Support and train Analysts
To support the origination and execution ("cradle to grave") of MLA deal opportunities (fee generation), including:
• Financial Modelling
• Pitchbook preparation
• Due diligence process management
• Co-ordination of all internal deal related processes
• Equity house coverage and maintenance of deal database for allocated houses
• Negotiation
• Term Sheets/ Bid letters/ Legal documentation

The candidate will have:
• Leveraged Finance Origination, Credit Analysis, Structuring and Execution experience from a leading bank, advisor, etc
• Loan documentation and negotiation skills
• Financial modelling/ interpretation skills
• Project management/ deal juggling
• Transaction sourcing/ marketing skills
• Accurate, professional, timely execution of deals in often stressful and tight timetable environment
• Honours degree and ideally technical financial training (e.g. business/ economics degree, ACA, MCT)
• Fluency in a Western European language preferred, particularly French
