| As a member of the Risk team he/she will have to
• Review transactions introduced by the GE Capital originations function to assess their suitability for inclusion in the GE Capital leveraged loan portfolio. • Independently identify transaction strengths and weaknesses, form conclusions based on your own and third party due diligence as well as recommend appropriate debt structures and terms. • Support the internal credit and approval process for proposed transactions, from inception through execution • Prepare and present credit and approval memoranda • Carry out industry / company analysis and prepare comprehensive financial models • Attend bank meetings, meetings with management and due diligence meetings / calls • Review term sheets and legal documentation • Liaise and coordinate other internal functions (finance, tax, insurance, technical, environmental and legal) during deal execution process | |
| • BS/BA degree from a Tier-1 university
• Flexibility in work hours during deal times. • Fluency in another major European language • 4+ years experience in leveraged finance deal environment • Strong technical skills especially, financial analysis and modelling • Familiarity with European Leveraged Finance markets and products • Ability to lead due diligence activities • Analytical / Problem Solving skills • Initiative / Decision Making skills • Written and oral communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Team Player • Strategizing / Planning skills |
