GE Renewable Energy Leadership Program accelerates the development of renewable energy-focused talent through a structured program combining coursework, job assignments and interactive seminars. Participants complete three or four position rotations within a two-year period in GE’s Renewable Energy platform which includes Wind, Solar and the Global Research Center.
During each of the 3 to 4 rotations, you will be working with fellow business leaders and team members on business critical issues with broad impact. In addition between first and second year, you will work with fellow RELPs on a Cap Stone Project during the Growth Playbook Period. Upon completion of the RELP Program, you will take an off program role within Renewables that continues to grow your expertise as a leader.
  • Bachelors degree
  • Strong experience in GE Energy Business
  • Manager and HR Manager support for participation in RELP
  • Strong motivation for a continued career in Renewable Energy
  • Proven leadership and management potential
  • Strong academic and performance record
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to complete rotations in GE’s Wind & Solar businesses
  • Ability to travel to the US up to 3 months in one period of time
  • Ability to travel up to 30% with rotations, & willingness to relocate for new rotations
  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding performance objectives
  • High energy and ability to energize others
  • Ability to lead in a matrix team environment
  • Strong creative and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop economic models.
  • Bachelors in Engineering or Renewable technology preferred
  • Strong leadership record with active participation in Renewable Energy forums, conferences
