Critical HR leadership role in the Organization & Talent Development (O&TD) team, responsible for leading the execution of a common strategy to build effective development and assimilation programs across fast growing organization of 43,000 employees with significant growth in emerging markets. Special focus will be put on new hires and newly appointed executives. Role responsibilities include HR for HR programs.
In addition, you will:
  • Partner with the O&TD Manager, VP HR and Senior HR leadership team to ensure overall organizational and leadership effectiveness
  • Leverage domain knowledge and creativity in identifying development programs to energize a growth culture in GE Oil & Gas and to attract and retain talent
  • Lead execution of the global talent development programs ensuring structured planning and consistency across the business
  • Build robust Executive development program to enhance leadership capabilities across the business
  • Provide the HR team with effective tools for the creation of competency models and career paths across the different O&G P&Ls / Functions
  • Work with the communication team globally to promote programs branding GE Oil & Gas as ‘Employer of Choice’, with particular focus on emerging markets and growing regions
  • Build set of metrics and reporting tools to track effectiveness of the programs implemented
  • Partner with the O&TD Manager and HR team, support the execution of the annual GE Oil & Gas HR review process (Session C) and G&Os setting process with particular focus on responsibility, including full ownership of HR tools and data analysis
  • Drive the development of programs and processes surrounding HR data management, diversity, talent pipeline and leadership development
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
  • Industry experience
  • Eligibility Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel globally as required
  • Master’s Degree in Business or Human Resources
  • Recent experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including operational knowledge of the GE Oil & Gas business Prior experience in strategic planning (GE Employees only)
  • Strong organizational and conceptual skills, ability to move from strategic to execution with demonstrated success
  • Strong customer oriented mind-set
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Expertise in learning and organizational development
  • Experience in HR Generalist and HR Leadership roles
  • Experience in managing, coaching and developing people
