Our client is a leading financial services group in London which provide loans, trade securities, and manage investment solutions for a wide range of clients. Their banking division has seen a 20% year-on-year growth since 2008, making it one of the few banks left virtually unaffected by the recession. This has left them in a position to be able to continue to provide a generous bonus structure for its employees.
This client is looking for a permanent Senior IT & Information Security Risk Analyst to provide an oversight and challenge IT management and security risks across the bank. You will provide assurance through risk reviews and risk analysis. You will need to highlight and flag-up potential risk and be able to stand your ground in measures needed to be taken in order to deal with such issues.

Responsibilities for Senior IT & Information Security Risk;

• Liaise with senior IT management and provide and oversight of IT and information security across the bank
• Risk review and analysis
• Highlight and flag-up potential risks
• Support risk management team in its challenge of IT and information security risks associated with business initiatives
• Provide advice to senior management for disaster recovery and business continuity across the bank
• Produce monthly risk reports for risk committees, and present where necessary 

Required Skills and Experience for Senior IT & Information Security Risk Analyst;

• The successful candidate will have the following:
• A technical background (ideally programmer / analyst)
• Been in an IT management role
• Extensive risk knowledge and understanding
• IT risk management experience within a financial institution
• IT and information security knowledge
• Excellent communication
• Analytical skills

You will be interfacing with senior management, clients and other areas of the business, therefore excellent oral and written communication are essential. You must also be willing to travel across London between the clients 2 offices (City and South London).
