Job Purpose:
To reconcile all holdings with Fund Manager/Stockbroker records, identifying stock breaks and contacting Fund Managers for documentation.

Job Background/context:
Part of Wrap Operations, the primary role of Stock Reconciliation and Break Team is to reconcile client’s holdings with external records within agreed SLA’s and to identify any breaks in positions.  This is a growth area for Citi with a large pipeline of new business to be supported over the coming months.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inputting of Fund Manager valuations to spreadsheets
• Ensuring all Fund Manager valuations are received by agreed SLA’s
• Reconciling Internal positions with Fund Manager/Certificate position and identify exceptions
• Investigation of exceptions to ensure resolution
Escalation to line manager of suspected transactional issues, failures or potential losses, to ensure that ageing transactions are monitored.
• Work in full compliance with established processes.
• Operating within agreed business SLAs and confidentiality standards

Qualifications

 
Knowledge/Experience:
Essential:• Previous experience in Financial Services
• Reconciliations Experience
Desirable:• Experience of stock reconciliation functions
• Experience of working to strict deadlines, targets, service level agreements
• Be able to take ownership of resolving issues 

Skills:
• Proficient  with Microsoft office suite particularly Excel
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong client focus with successful experience in delivering client satisfaction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Adaptability and ability to deal with change effectively and positively

Qualifications:
• Educated to higher level qualification
• Industry experience within Financial Services
• Direct skills, knowledge and experience of a Wrap operational environment
