Job Purpose:
To work within the
in-specie team to undertake processing of all in-specie transfers in and
out in line with set service level agreements.
Job Background/context:
The in-specie transfers
team is responsible for processing of all in-specie transfers in and out
for Citi’s Wrap clients. The role will also involve tracking all
in-specie transfers through to completion from start to finish
The role holder will report directly to the in-specie team manager working within a specialised team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform various administration tasks falling under the remit of the In-Specie Team ensuring processed right first time
• Checking of transfer paperwork and onward submission to 3rd parties
• Develop strong working relationships with external clients
• Direct liaison with third parties both in terms of documentation forwarding and query/issue resolution
• Undertake all elements of In-Specie transfers both in and out
• Check all transfer documents are completed in line with internal and regulatory requirements
• Manage workload to ensure all business is processed accurately and on a timely basis and to ensure that all targets and internal service levels are met
• Liaise closely with other departments, to ensure all business processes run smoothly and effectively
• Identify process improvements and share best practices
• Demonstrate ownership of queries and follow through to successful completion
• Follow all relevant procedures in relation to in-specie transfers
• Share specialist knowledge with colleagues

Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
• Experience of processing In-Specie Transfers from end to end
• Experience of effectively managing own workload
• Knowledge of Wrap products
• Ability to demonstrate experience and understanding of working within a Financial Services environment
• Understanding of controls and risk in a Financial Services environment
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and client money and client asset rules
• Ability to follow processes and procedures for the team

Qualifications:
• The role holder will ideally have relevant experience in an in-specie transfers role
• Have sound business knowledge and experience and would be willing to embark on study towards gaining the IOC qualification
