| Drive Sales growth within the Structured sector, developing the go to market strategy in addition to identifying, maintaining and developing growth opportunities. Leading a team of NRD and Commercial/ relationship managers: providing coaching, mentoring and development of the team. Support the development and implementation of the wider commercial objectives for EF within the Structured sector. Focus on sharing and driving best practice across Structred teams. | |
| * This role could be based in either Bristol or London. * Monitor & analyse developments within the structured sector including, but not limited to the Wholesale, Materials Handling, Manufacturing, Transportation & Construction markets, focusing on competitors, key market trends, identifying new product/ sales opportunities where appropriate, sharing within the wider EF organisation. * Work closely with relationship managers to identify and drive entitlement for GE, sponsoring new NPI’s or development where require to drive sales. * Monitor and track relationship managers performance, mentoring and coaching where required. * Build and maintain senior level contacts within the structured sector, executing opportunities to increase entitlement & drive share of wallet, leveraging GE infrastructure to deploy across multiple channels & together with the BD team, identifying new partner & structured opportunities. * Develop and implement rigourous account management strategies to meet retention, growth & profitability targets. Solid use of data & statistical analysis to drive & change behaviour. * Drive usage of Creating Client Value (CCV) tools throughout the team. * Review and ensure maintenance of strategic account plans within the team. * Plan and Co-ordinate Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) targets, monitor on-going performance. * Work with Risk, Pricing & AMO to build a clearly defined & executable strikezone. Simplify internal process to drive x-funtional customer centricity. * Identify training requirements within the team and liaise with commercial excellence functions to roll out/ devise new training as required for the team. * Proactively manage resources within the team; ensuring individuals are aligned effectively to grow new business. * Support relationship managers to build, plan meetings and business reviews acting as senior GE representative and escalation point if required. * Create and maintain detailed business plans, working alongside Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), for the respective segment for feeding into GE Session planning exercises. * Sponsor, initiate and manage specific commercial projects, which can drive growth within the respective segment and or within the wider business. | |
| * The individual will possess strong creativity and imagination, have excellent communication skills and be able to work across multiple functions to identifying and develop transaction opportunities, structures and products. * Seasoned level of experience in UK Leasing market with deep domain expertise across the Structured/ Technology market & associated channels. * Knowledge of leasing products and the operating processes required to build a successful and profitable asset finance portfolio. * Proven ability to develop new relationships at a senior management level in some of the UK’s largest Companies. * Ability to negotiate at board level to win new relationships & re-negotiate existing contracts. * In-depth knowledge of business financial concepts, balance sheets/ PL/ cash flows. * Detailed knowledge of pricing model, AMO policy, Risk 5.0’s. * Deal management experience especially executing complex transactions. * Project management experience especially implementing new projects, products etc, with deep operational expertise to optimise & harmonise internal & external process demands. * Strong negotiation and influencing skills are a must. * Create an external focus that defines success in market terms & manages customer expectations throughout the process. * Leadership skills: set the tone for GE Capital UK internally and in the market by demonstrating leasing competency. * Must be capable of thinking strategically to grow the business. * Be a clear thinker who can simplify strategy into specific actions, makes decisions and communicates priorities. * Have imagination and courage to take risks on both people and ideas. * Be able to energise teams through inclusiveness and connection with people. * Must have the commercial, numerical and finance skills to unlock the key business issues of the customer and to find opportunities to improve the customer’s commercial position. * Strong leasing economics and credit skill set is essential. * Financial Services – needs to understand the imperatives of any financial services company, adding value through business knowledge, speed and accuracy of delivery of the service, excellent post deal customer services. * Industry and Sector Knowledge – in order to be credible and gain access easily, must be able to quickly develop an insider’s view of the industry sectors managed, needs to be able to talk the language of the industry with confidence and demonstrate insight into the business and competitive issues of his/her clients. Should be able to demonstrate an edge through an ability to interpret and analyse customer business information, including financial statements, business plans, strategies etc. * Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. | |
