| In
this role, you will work within the finance team to manage key treasury
controllership risks, ensure accurate accounting and reporting, and
support the significant transactions of the business leveraging the
broader team as required.
Your responsibilities will include: Team management • Managing outsourced resource team of 3 based in India who supports the treasury accounting processes Deal Support/lifecycle management • Structure new funding for acquisitions, and repayment of existing funding for dispositions • Responsible for the 3rd party bank funded real estate investments, including preparation & presentation of management accounts to board of directors, joint venture partners and external lenders • Prepare cashmaps for all significant funds flow, co-ordinate approvals within the business any beyond • Co-ordinate significant funds flows with corporate treasury operations team • Assist in projects to optimize the group cash and funding position Legal Loan Accounting • Maintain the $4B legal funding structures of real estate investments in the UK • Work with Tax, and Corporate Treasury to effect drawdowns, repayments, interest settlements • Ensure all accounting aspects of intercompany loans completed monthly/quarterly Support tax processes • Work closely with UK tax team to ensure compliance with Thin Capitalization and Arbitrage requirements • Work with tax to ensure appropriate transfer pricing on loans between group entities, and services between group companies Core Accounting processes • Review monthly/quarterly account reconciliations • Ownership of several key UK entities for UK GAAP statutory reporting process, as well as US GAAP reporting • Work with the Assistant Controller to ensure compliance with US, regulatory, and SOX reporting requirements | |
| • BA/BS or equivalent
• ACA/CPA or equivalent • +3 years of finance and accounting experience • Treasury accounting experience preferred • Experience of dealing with technical accounting issues and liaising with technical experts • Track record of owning processes and driving change • Customer centric • Ability to multi-task and work outside of comfort zone • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines • High energy level, self starter • Strong analytical skills • Excellent interpersonal, communication & listening skills Eligibility Requirements You MUST submit your application for employment through COS to be considered for this position Must be eligible to work in UK |
