Global Technology Manager (Business Travel)-13014447
Description
This dedicated role will be responsible for developing & delivering the long term travel technology strategy with a key client, translating this strategy into concrete business plans which deliver process efficiency and service enhancement.
The Global Technology Project Manager will be required to partner with the customer to understand and agree technical and service goals and work with internal AMEX travel technical teams to provide suitable solutions to deliver on the joint strategy & goals.
The role will require strong process orientation, thought leadership and a collaborative approach to building & leveraging strong customer and internal relationships. The Global Technology Project Manager will have a strong understanding of tools and processes across all regions, ideally Concur Online Booking. They will leverage this knowledge to develop and deliver global operating consistency, where appropriate.
Accountabilities:
Participate and guide market teams with incremental technology deployments for the client, bringing learning from each market and mitigating challenges as each market develops their individual launch plans.
Delivery against key technology related metric targets such as online adoption, FPY, touchless, improvements in policy compliance & savings derived from PTA
Proactively drive continuous improvements in the performance / functionality of the key technology systems (PTA, Online)
Support the ongoing management of the critical travel technology tools for the client program, this includes but is not limited to SSO process management, HR feed integration, addition of incremental parameters for PTA, promotion of new functionality within the online tool etc
Provide training and learning resources for both client associates and American Express teams supporting the enterprise business.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of global travel operations, suppliers, and systems.
- Understanding of Online bookings tools (primarily Concur) beneficial
- Highly developed Project & Change management skills.
- Strong analytical thinker combined with written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience relating to the creation and delivery of business process strategies for large global clients
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully across cultures and regions and the ability to work with cross-functional teams and to influence both internally and externally
- Confident approach to presentations, client & internal meetings
- Strong PC knowledge including related PowerPoint/Excel/ Microsoft Project/Email skills
