Regional Client Manager (Business Travel)-13014442
Description
The Regional Client Manager is responsible for establishing and executing the client’s strategic account plan from a regional level. The manager identifies transformational business opportunities within the region to enhance and optimize the customer experience and create customer value. Liaising regularly with Headquarter Client Director and the local markets, the Regional Client Manager develops strategies for client engagement, retention and profitability in the region.
Accountabilities:
- Guide clients in optimizing their local T&E programs by assessing opportunities and executing on agreed goals and strategies.
- Spearhead regular communication on progress against performance targets incl. client´s service level agreement; partner with Service Delivery Leaders to standardize Client processes in the region and to meet expected targets.
- Maximize transaction revenue and deliver premium revenue growth by supporting the sales process of AXP products and services on global or local level.
- Partner with Commercial Card and other internal support functions to deliver premium service to our Global Client Group customers.
- Support local markets in identifying innovative solutions to enhance productivity & improve caller experience during service fulfillment.
- Build and maintain an extensive network of key contacts at all levels to understand client’s expectation and to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Synthesize competitive intelligence to understand implications for clients; proactively communicate trends, innovations, and best practices to Global HQ and the local markets.
- Support quarterly and annual reviews with the client.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Business Travel industry (global and local level), Service Delivery and Client Management.
- Strong financial and business acumen; understanding of profitability drivers and P&L accounts (for the client and for American Express). Take responsibility for reducing costs and increasing revenue
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities; demonstrated expertise in project management, prioritization, and planning.
- A sophisticated range of communication and presentation skills; able to present complex ideas in simple and compelling way to a wide variety of audiences.
- Proven ability to set goals, build action plans and execute on agreed strategies.
- Relationship builder at multiple levels (internal and external).Facility in building relationships at multiple levels with internal and external partners. Ability to interface effectively with C-level clients
- Exceptional negotiation skills, including the ability to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial solutions
- Motivated by detail – operational, tactical and technical
- Self-starter; ability to work independently
- High degree of computer literacy. Powerpoint and Excel beneficial
- Readiness for frequent travel
