Mobile Maintenance Engineer South East Area (UK)-016834

The position of Maintenance Mechanic (Electrical Biased) is critical to the smooth operation of our centres.
The primary responsibilities include the maintenance of conveyor systems throughout the South East of England but will also include ‘trouble shooting’ electrical circuits ( both single and 3 phase); carrying out and reporting on preventative maintenance procedures. You will also be responsible for all types of welding as well as general maintenance.
You will be a qualified Conveyor Mechanic with a good working knowledge of electrical systems / circuits. Ideally you will have experience in all types of welding and have a good level of general maintenance skills. Keen to accept responsibility, you must be willing to work flexible hours including call out cover. A self starter with good interpersonal skills as you will be working, mainly, alone and dealing with people at all levels. This position will involve extensive travel and, on occasions, overnight stays.
Based out of our Dartford / Barking facility, the base hours of work are Monday – Friday, 0800 – 1700 with some call outs out of hours. In return we offer a competitive salary along with other benefits enjoyed by a large organisation.
Key Skills and Experience:
Skilled conveyor mechanic with relevant City and Guilds or equivalent qualification
Experience of working with all types of welding
Basic computer literacy skills
Able to work on own initiative and prioritize accordingly

Flexible, friendly and enthusiastic attitude
