This
is a sales leadership role for our established EMEA OEM Sales
territory. The role plays an important part in the OEM Sales leadership
team and is accountable for driving OEM business and for increasing
EMC’s OEM footprint in EMEA. The successful candidate will lead the EMEA
OEM Sales team, drive and align OEM business, develop and execute sales
strategies, as well as implement OEM BU initiatives in the territory.
The candidate will have a proven track record in OEM sales and working
with senior sales professionals across different geos and cultures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Works
hand in hand with Director of Global OEM Sales, developing and
executing OEM sales strategies and account management plans that deliver
against key business metrics and objectives and maximize opportunities
for EMC.
· Identifies new & existing sources of OEM revenue growth in EMEA.
· Ensures and monitors profitability and success of OEM sales activities in EMEA.
· Liaises
with Country Managers and Field Sales Organizations to ensure
partnership and mutual understanding of key OEM BU capabilities and
objectives.
· Attends
sales calls with subordinates to accelerate sales process, move forward
design-win opportunities, coach and evaluate effectiveness of sales
team.
· Manages and communicates design-win pipeline as well as weekly sales reports and forecast updates for the assigned territory.
· Coaches
and develops EMEA sales team to improve sales skills, acquire executive
conversation abilities and expand product knowledge.
· Follows
through on supervisory responsibilities including territory and account
planning, sales reviews and reporting, interviewing, hiring, and
training employees; appraising performance; addressing challenges and
resolving conflict.
