Job Title: Account Manager Support Sales & Renewals

Summary

- This is a quota carrying sales position

- You should be a highly motivated individual who wants to progress their career in a fast moving ICT related sales environment


Purpose

- To manage the IIG (Information Intelligence Group) Support Sales & Renewals

- (SSR) business for all EMC IIG customers in Iberia and Nordics

- Working directly with customers, partners and EMC Field Sales in-country to renew

software maintenance contracts and pro-actively up-sell additional services in a timely fashion


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- Achieve sales targets for the defined territory on a quarterly basis

- Ensure all software maintenance contracts are renewed prior to expiration on a quarterly basis, by engaging with customers, partners and EMC Field Sales to pro-actively manage the complete sales cycle from the initial quotation through to the renewal of the contract

- Ensure accurate quotations are sent to customers at least 90 days prior to contract expiration

- Manage the quarterly & annual sales forecasts to a very high degree of accuracy and submit on a weekly basis to management

- Adhere to the corporate renewals policy and practices

- Identify opportunities to upsell services to your customers and close these opportunities

- Ensure appropriate customer or service issues are escalated to management in a timely manner with recommended actions

- Work cross organizationally as part of regional sales and services team

- Manage the Sales Cycle primarily by telephone and email correspondence and by visiting your region several times per fiscal quarter



Skills

- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish both written and spoken

- Ability to work proactively to reach agreed sales targets

- Strong persuasion skills to ensure customers sign renewal contracts in time

- Ability to work in an ordered fashion to ensure that the quotations go to customers at least 90 days in advance

- Daily up-dating of all forecasts and tracking systems that the team use

- Pro-active, positive approach to solving problems as they arise

- Computer Literate in MS Office

Qualifications and Experience

- University level education preferred

- A proven record in ICT sales preferably with sales experience in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) area

- Good knowledge of the EMEA ICT market and experience of working with partners is required


Languages

Fluent English, Spanish both written and spoken

A third language will be an advantage
