In
this role you will lead the Bridge of Don QC teams and ensure safety,
prioritisation, capability, capacity and coordination with the goals and
demands of the Bridge of Don site, Global Supply Chain and the Subsea
Systems P&L.
Management of the QC teams, via lead hands, to ensure appropriate staffing levels and competency.
When necessary to recruit and train both contract and permanent staff to maintain safe and secure operations.
To ensure prioritisation of workload with respect to the deliverables of the business and demands on the site.
To maintain a clear focus on Safety, Product Quality and On time delivery.
To compile reports for QMR and other reviews as required.
To ensure control of non-conformance product and parts to
ensure expected Product Quality is delivered to the customer for all
deliverables.
Maintain familiarity with manufacturing equipment and test
equipment in order to provide accurate investment planning, as well as
appropriate calibration and preventative maintenance procedures.
To work in partnership with the fulfilment teams and key
stakeholders across the P&L / Business with regard to Quality and
delivery to fully achieve all customer deliverables.
To drive continuous improvement within the QC teams through
application of appropriate metrics and development and closure of
improvement actions.
To support all site compliance activities, investigations
and audits both Internal and External ensuring the business QMS is
maintained supporting the business ISO accreditation.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Previous experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing or Operations.
Experience of leading large teams in a supply chain environment
