Role title: Marketing Executive – EMEIA Financial Services – Insurance
 
Our EMEIA Financial Services business requires an enthusiastic and articulate individual with broad marketing experience to support our EMEIA marketing team focusing on Insurance.  The team covers both EMEIA and UK and this executive will report into the manager and senior manager.  This is a newly created role that comes as a result of increased demand from the insurance business.
 
In addition to supporting existing team members, the insurance marketing executive would manage their own portfolio of projects taking ownership for a variety of activities, including events and thought leadership, in the future.
 
The role would suit someone keen to build their marketing experience in a professional services environment and become part of an established and successful marketing team, recognised for pushing boundaries in professional services marketing. An interest and/or experience in financial services, and insurance in particular, would be an advantage.
 
Role description:
  • Production and review of thought leadership once senior manager and manager have signed off on final content
  • Managing the design process for more straight forward brochures and  points of view (UK Senior Executive Updates, for example)
  • Managing the logistics of insurance events – from invitation list development to helping out at the event and supporting senior manager and manager in the development of EMEIA and UK events
  • Assisting with sector and solution activity planning
  • Working closely with the senior manager on discrete research projects as necessary – newsletters, forums, conferences – and as requested by EMEIA leadership
  • Taking ownership of the EMEIA insurance intranet and uploading content as required to the external UK and EMEIA websites
  • Taking on general administrative tasks for the team (updating internal marketing activity database, preparing some meeting materials, updating client relationship management lists (InterAction)
 
Other key responsibilities include:
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and Partner sponsors for each of the programmes that you are involved in.
  • Build strong relationships with key marketing contacts  in areas of focus, as well as a strong network of business contacts, including relevant service line and sector contacts
  • Ensure that CRM tools (e.g. InterAction, Client Connection) are updated, maximised and championed
  • Management, production and execution of events within the areas of focus.
  • Creative input into the design process, liaising with internal and external design team/suppliers to ensure the production of high quality, differentiated and brand compliant campaign collateral.
  
Qualities, skills and experience to include:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience at a marketing assistant/executive level
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting and delivering campaigns/programmes and events
  • Experience of working within a professional services partnership, or financial services business
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication and oral skills - in particular, strong written communications and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good project management skills and experience of working with CRM systems
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Energetic, personable, team player with a willingness to ‘muck in’ where necessary
  • Creative flair and confidence
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and juggle numerous commitments at any one time
  • Exposure to executive level staff and the ability to develop trusted business relationships with senior internal stakeholders and external clients and suppliers
