    The Commercial Operations Internship is a 12 month placement suitable for students who are currently studying on a sandwich degree or have recently graduated from a Business relation degree. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a global business covering broad areas of the commercial organization supporting the AsiaPacific region of the business.

  • Support aspects of the commercial proposal generation efforts within Commercial Operations
  • Understand key administrative needs during tenders and prequalification stages and develop repeatable processes to obtain, publish and renew key documents
  • Support re-design and re launch of new look intranet site, based on user needs. Roll out / manage communication to the global Commercial Operations team
  • Review administrative processes within the team and suggest & help implement process improvement opportunities
  • Develop an understanding of the team’s online filing system /process and redesign/restructure into a simpler and more consistent structure that allows for the easier upload and retrieval of documents. Provide training for employees on new filing structure
  • Update digital repositories (support central and shared drive) with latest material for commercial proposals. Promote frequently to ensure user awareness of key information and documents
  • Interact with other key functions/departments to obtain key documents / certification vital to the bidding process
  • Support Global Commercial Operations manager in key process improvement initiatives
  • Support online registration & updates & monitoring of key bidding systems
  • Other ad-hoc activities as required
