| Responsible for operational and strategic Human Resources Generalist oversight, supporting a client group within the GE Capital Real Estate business. | |
| - Provide leadership, direction and expertise for the full scope of human resources function at operational and strategic level.
- Provide guidance and counsel to management on matters such as recruiting, organizational design and development, succession planning, employee relations practices, training, compensation planning and employee communications. - Serve as a change agent and partner with senior leadership to ensure a high-performing organization. - Coach and counsel employees regarding HR policies and procedures relative to transfer, promotion, compensation, benefits and conditions of employment. - Lead and leverage GE HR processes within the business (Performance Management, Salary Planning/Reward Management, Succession Planning and Talent Management), cross-functional communication and the transfer of learning and best practice sharing within the human resources network in UK & Europe - Manage service providers Global Operations (HR Administration) and Talent Recruitment and oversee human resources operational efficiency. - Function as a key member of the European human resources team, participate/lead/initiate cross European HR projects. - Actively participate to the United Kingdom Human Resources council. | |

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial/Organizational
Psychology or a related discipline in which business knowledge and an
understanding of human resource practices are gained
- Minimum of 6 years of human resources experience - Human Resources Generalist experience in all or some human resources areas, such as recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, employee development or performance management - Outstanding communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization - Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment and effectively interface with high-level leaders - Process and detail oriented, including strong organizational and prioritization skills - Sound knowledge of local labour laws and government requirements - Strong commitment to customer service; able to quickly establish credibility and build rapport and trust Eligibility Requirements: - You must submit application for employment through COS (internal candidates) or www.gecareers.com (external candidates) to be considered for this position. - You must have authorization to work in the United Kingdom. - You must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, which may include reference verification and background check. - You must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time. - You must be willing to work out of the London office. | |
