Job Purpose:
 
Support KYC BSU operations teams in the area of Systems and Business Analysis with specific focus on:
  • UAT execution
  • Analysis of business requirement and solutions provided by Technology
  • Focused testing on requirements
  • Collaborate with  scenario’s & execution planning
  • End to end documentation of UAT testing and other processes
  • Becoming an SME on all systems/tools in the BSU environment

Job Background/context:
The Business Support Unit (BSU) is an AML/KYC support/control function within the Institutional Clients Group responsible for the preparation, development, due diligence and approval of the electronic Know Your Customer(KYC) record in partnership with Coverage and Compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in calls with Technology and Business partners to understand the business requirements and solution provide by technology on the same.
  • Assist UAT PMO team in developing test scenario’s & test cases for UAT execution for scheduled release
  • Assist team leads in reviewing and signing off the UAT test cases
  • Execute UAT for any systemic changes proposed for KYC systems within given timelines.  Perform UAT on smaller scale deliveries
  • On large scale projects, co-ordinate testing activities across teams of business users
  • Deliver status reports on UAT progress to management
  • Ensure successful tracking and resolution of defects raised 
  • Maintain a repository and end to end documentation of testing performed
  • Ensure project risks and issues are identified & mitigated accordingly
  • Participate in the delivery of training for BSU staff on KYC applications following system changes /enhancements as a Subject Matter Expert. Assist team leads to perform post-mortems In case any major concerns arise in Production environment post release.
  • Support project implementations through live verification and user assistance
  • Engage with team members/Regional counterparts on brainstorming sessions to produce innovative ideas/suggestions to improve the functionality/efficiency of BSU systems and processes.
  • Collaborates with process documentation, gap analysis, data mapping, process  and workflows improvement efforts.

Qualifications

 
Knowledge/Experience:
  • Graduates or Post Graduates majoring in Business & Systems analysis/ IT /Computer Science. Exposure to Banking is a plus.
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a UAT tester
  • Knowledge of KYC/AML process
  • Experience with large programs/projects in a global company is a plus

  • Strong experience of using defect management tools e.g. HP Quality Centre
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Experience using automated testing tools is an advantage
Qualifications:
  • B.Com/BE/BSc/BCS/MBAs or related discipline
  • Certification in Business Analysis or Testing will be an added advantage. Competencies:
